As a Foremen you are responsible for the running of day-to-day operation and the coordination of all employees, plant resources and sub-contract personnel in your area of control.In addition to the above you will:Compete all documentation required for the role including time sheets, daily job sheets, pre start inspections, plant usage sheets, quality checklists, hazard IDsCoordinate, plan and organise plant, labour, sub-contractors suppliers as required for projects or worksOversee the laying of asphalt during a construction projectGood Work equals Good BenefitsIncreased KiwiSaver employer contributionsFuel discount cardParental leave top-up payment with additional return to work supportFamily scholarshipsOngoing training and development, career growth and progression opportunitiesGreat discounts at a wide range of retailersMedical insuranceLife insuranceAt Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us.We're looking for someone with:Experience in civil construction specifically in a Foreman/asphalt roleKnowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in road construction and maintenanceKnowledge of machines and tools, including design, use repair and maintenanceCompetent in the operation and basic maintenance of all equipment for relevant industryUnderstands how to clean up spills of all products being worked withMinimum Class 2 licence with WTR endorsementsExperience with communication to and leading othersCreating, Connecting and caring for the communityOur people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
