Part-time (0.5FTE) fixed term until October 2025Competitive salary + discounted health insurance + free onsite parkingHave variation and satisfaction in your workMo te turanga | About the roleFacilitate appropriate and high-quality occupational therapy management of inpatients, outpatients, and community patients where designated.Work actively and co-operatively in an inter-professional team and liaise appropriately with relevant health care professionals.Prescribe mobility aids and equipment (including wheelchairs) within the parameters of departmental provision guidelines, and complete Equipment Management Service processes in a timely manner.Prepare progress and discharge reports to meet service and ACC requirements.Willingness to hold colleagues accountable for high standards of clinical practice.Resourceful and resilient; able to apply critical thinking to solve complex problems.Ability to work constructively with others to resolve conflict.Current registration with Occupational Therapy Board of NZ and a current APC.Flexible, adaptable and a strong team player.The successful candidate must hold a full and clean NZ Driver's License.Utu whanui | Salary rangeThis role belongs to the PSA/DHBs Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($77,087 p.a) and Step 7 ($107,600 p.a pro rata) of the Degree-Based Allied, Public Health and Technical scale.Due to the fast-paced nature of what we do, our vacancy close dates may be subject to change.
