This role is with an insurance company based in Milwaukee.
The contract duration is 9+ months.Responsibilities:Accountable for project management of larger initiatives/projects with medium complexity.Define and manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality, including monitoring day-to-day progress, execution, management, and closure within the approved scope, schedule, and cost.Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques that are compliant with company-approved methodologies and tool sets to help with the successful completion of short and long-term goals.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.3+ years of experience working with websites and mobile applications in a delivery setting.2+ years of project management experience in technology and/or business functions.Experience with project management methodologies or SDLC (systems development life cycle).Working knowledge of project management/agile tooling.Ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, and business leaders.Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives using a variety of delivery methodologies (i.e., waterfall, agile, lean, scrum, etc.
).Intellectual curiosity and a desire to dig into details, learn, ask questions, and become the "go-to expert" on certain concepts and topics.Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution.Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.Impacts the direction and resource allocation for programs, projects, or services; works within general department policies and industry guidelines.Explains information, conveys performance expectations, and handles sensitive issues.Compensation: Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
