As a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor, your well-defined programme of research will help to advance research capacities and undertake Professional/community/iwi service activities in the Counsellor Education field. You will have a record of leadership that includes mentorship, guidance, and support for other staff.The level of appointment will depend on the successful candidate's relevant skills, knowledge, and experience. It is essential to be a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors or another relevant professional organisation.You will have broad and in-depth knowledge of narrative therapy and mediation, social constructionist theory, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and whakaaro Maori, and counselling ethics.
