The Doctors Silverstream - General Practitioner (GP)The Doctors Silverstream have an opportunity for a GP to join our close, committed, hardworking team.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced vocationally registered GP or a GP on their training journey.We can offer you great support in your role as well as generous remuneration and employment benefits such as support towards continuing medical education as well as assistance towards your APC and indemnity insurance.Supportive long running group practiceBased in Upper HuttThe Doctors SilverstreamWe provide a full family healthcare service to residents of Silverstream and the wider community in the Hutt Valley and Upper Hutt.
We have 12,000 registered patients and are in growth phase which has prompted us to seek suitable candidates to add to our very stable team of GPs.
Conveniently located in a shopping area near the local commuter rail station, we are open five days a week, and extended hours most evenings.
With our team of GPs, practice nurses, and receptionists, and a wide range of additional services available in the centre or just nearby, we provide complete primary health care under one roof.
We are a Cornerstone, RNZCGP quality accredited, and teaching practice (GP Registrars) practice.
Telehealth Services are also availableAbout the position and you:You will bring to the role:Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilize your experienceAbility to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our communityHold or be eligible for Registration with the Medical Council of New ZealandThis is a permanent position with negotiable hours, preferably working 8 sessions per week.
You will be required to work some evenings in accordance with the shared regional after-hours roster.We are happy to consider overseas candidates wishing to relocate to New Zealand and can provide support with gaining New Zealand registration if you are eligible.
