Dredging Barge DeckhandYou will be part of a team tasked to perform deckhand duties onboard our 50m Dredging Vessels while at sea and in port.To be successful in this full-time role you will:Have Maritime Experience with an SRL (or working towards completing an SRL/ILM).Perform all shipboard duties while at sea and in port including: watch keeping, berthing, casting off, anchoring and bunkering.Undertake housekeeping duties, provisioning and sharing meal preparation.Carry out emergency drills and procedures.Tasks include but are not limited to:Assisting on Tugs and Workboats.Operating small boats.Cleaning, painting and maintenance of vessels and equipment.Requirements:Due to our Health and Safety protocols, applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.Applicants MUST be legally entitled to work in NZ.Please send your C.V to ****** online for this role or contact Nikki for more information.
