This dealership is a part of a well-established and leading automotive group and they are looking for an Automotive Technician to join their Hamilton workshop and contribute to the success of the team.
Joining the technical team means aligning yourself with a respected national organisation with a network of dealerships throughout New Zealand.
You will form a key part of the workshop team where you will perform a range of duties including servicing, repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics on passenger vehicles.
Engine rebuilds and overhauls, as well as WOF inspections and electrical fault finding and repairs will also form part of your role.
Requirements Relevant automotive trade qualification as well as 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in a franchise environmentExperience on premium or volume brands will be consideredMajor repair and fault-finding skills are a mustA current WOF licence is required, or a willingness to get oneGood diagnostics capabilityClear communication skills, both verbal and writtenA clean and current driver's licenceTeam playerOn offer Competitive rates of pay based on your experience, as well as additional bonuses based on performanceFurther trainingOngoing exposure to the latest technologies and diagnostic equipmentGreat work environment and a friendly teamPermanent full time role offering a minimum of 40 hours a weekHow to apply
