Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for highly skilled and motivated Big Data & Analytics Solutions Architect to help accelerate the growth of our customers' businesses in Malaysia and ASEAN. You would be part of a dynamic team bringing the latest in disruptive, Cloud Computing and Big Data technologies to enable leaders that want to serve customers more effectively. You will have the opportunity to shape and deliver on a strategy to help customers better leverage AWS Data & Analytics platforms to meet their innovation goals.
Expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) is a bonus, as you will be expected to leverage these technologies to extract maximum value from the data and help our customers drive innovation.
The ideal candidate will:
Enjoy working with customers and partners, with a passion for educating, training, designing, and building Big Data & Analytics cloud computing systems.Keep existing technical skills and develop new ones to lead deep Big Data & Analytics architecture discussions.Have experience in applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques to solve complex data challenges.Be willing to learn the deep details of AWS systems and achieve technical success for customers on the AWS platform.Develop and run technical content, prove technology through demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.Guide technical teams on best practices in architecting Big Data systems.Be dynamic, creative, and willing to take on any challenge.AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.
Key job responsibilities Collaborate with AWS field sales, Solution Architects, training and support teams to help partners and customers understand the capabilities and value of AWS Big Data and Analytics services.Deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers, including pre-sales visits, understanding customer requirements, and designing relevant data solutions.Push the envelope by finding innovative new ways to satisfy business needs through Data / Business Intelligence / Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence cloud computing.Develop and cultivate a community of Big Data & Analytics experts, sharing ideas and best practices.Provide thought leadership to Data & Analytics experts through events like AWS Summit Series and User-Groups.Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback.The candidate will possess both technical and customer-facing skills that will allow them to be a "trusted advisor" to customers and facilitate relationships with senior personnel.
The ideal candidate will also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges. If you enjoy innovating, solving hard problems, and working on cutting-edge technology, we would love to have you on the team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelors degree
- 7+ years of hands-on implementation and architecture experience in data warehousing, data lakes, operational analytics, data migration, data governance, and integration scenarios, with a deep understanding of Apache Hadoop and the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Proven track record of success in a consultative technical sales or professional services role.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- An advanced degree in computer science, MIS, engineering or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience with AWS data and analytics services.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and thought leadership in Big Data processing.
- Deep understanding of data ecosystems, including application, server, and network security.
- Experience with statistics, mathematical modelling, and predictive analytics.
