Job Title: Team Leader / Senior Residential Support Worker / Shift Lead
Location: Huyton, Merseyside
Salary: £37,000 including sleeps
Shifts: 2 on, 4 off
Service: Children's Residential Care Home
Service Users: YP with various needs; EBD, CSE, CCE
Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care is desirable
Experience: At least 1 years' experience relevant to residential care in the last 5 years
The Opportunity: Excellent opportunity for an experienced, qualified candidate to join the team in one of our client's children's residential homes.
Our client takes EBD Referrals and the YPs are 6 to 17 on Admission.

The Benefits: Competitive pay and sleep-in allowanceEnhanced overtime rate of; time and a thirdAccess to the employee wellbeing programme28 days annual leave entitlement, rising to 33 days with 5 years of serviceWhat you will be expected to do: Ensuring shifts are planned with Residential Support WorkersTo ensure that all risks are safely managed in line with the company policies and proceduresTo communicate effectively with the team regarding the plans for the dayTo provide reports and documentation that reflect the progress of the young person, using our paperless systems and toolsTo review the young people's care plans and other associated documentationYou will also need: To provide positive parentingTo have exceptional communication skillsTo have sound working knowledge of current legislation e.g., Children's Homes Regulations 2015 (including quality standards)To be open-minded, empathetic in a calm and professional mannerEssential Requirements: Must have a full manual driving licenceLevel 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalentBe willing to participate in further continuing professional development to support the needs of our young peopleTo have a clear passion and desire to support children and young peopleTo be an active member of the team and be committed to working in unisonThis is a great opportunity to work with a company that offers genuine career progression through its current services and new and developing services across the North West and the Midlands (East and West).
