Yashili New Zealand Dairy – Pokeno, North IslandAn opportunity has arisen for a fixed term role (Maternity Cover). This role will support the day-to-day management of our Food Safety and Quality systems.Our preferred candidate will have relevant work experience in the food industry and have exposure to Quality Systems including HACCP.Preferably, they will also hold a diploma or degree in Food Technology.Responsibilities include:Conduct and manage internal audits for the site and close out the identified gaps in a timely manner.Document management for the site, including staff training and review of processes.Check Internal Non-Conformances prior to closing them and monitor re-occurring issues.Manage Internal Exception Approvals for site for any temporary deviations or changes for effective implementation.Ensure annual renewal of export and other certifications.Preparation of Finished Goods Specifications.Liase with external customers for any information required for site or products.Support for the development of Standard Operating Procedures.Support Regulatory and Compliance Manager to ensure full operational compliance with all the applicable regulatory bodies.Check Foreign Ingredient Certificates for overseas dairy materials and raise Export Certificates for final product.Drive Good Manufacturing and Prerequisite program on site.Lead and support improvement projects for the Quality Team.Why work for us:Yashili NZ Dairy Company Ltd is a state-of-the-art infant formula powder and nutritional powder processing plant.
