Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Located in Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt, we are a leading manufacturer and supplier of Aluminium Windows and Doors within our industry. We offer our customers the Vantage brand under APL Window Solutions and service the greater Wellington Region. We predominantly supply to the residential housing market, working with a variety of different customers, from the home owner through to the developer. Our products are New Zealand made and most of what we offer is manufactured locally right here on site in Wainuiomata.We currently have a vacancy for an experienced OPERATIONS MANAGER to join our busy team.An integral and key position within our business, this would suit a motivated individual who is focused, organised, and highly detailed. Your ability to solve problems, manage and juggle workloads, and communicate effectively with a wide range of people will set you apart from the rest.This person will have proven experience in similar leadership roles and have a strong desire and drive to take on the more challenging of tasks. A strong leader, you will have vision and bring with you a fresh approach, empowering others to achieve and exceed expectations.ExperienceStrong management experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and lead othersProven sales experience, maintaining both existing client relationships and building new onesExperience leading projects from start to finishSolid problem solving and decision-making abilityExperience carrying out final site measures would be beneficialKnowledge within the manufacturing industryKnowledge of the V6 quoting system or similar would be beneficialExperience with quotations & final invoicingKey SkillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to relate well to a wide range of peopleGood interpretation and understanding of technical drawings / plansGood interpretation and understanding of Aluminium Joinery manufacturing techniques and assembly practices would be beneficialEffective and efficient use of computers and technology is requiredExcellent attention to detail, with a real emphasis on accuracyAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, as and when requiredGood health and safety practicesFull Clean Driver's LicenseAttributesGood sense of humourHonest & ConscientiousTeam playerAdaptable & ResilientExcellent presentationWhat Evolution Windows OffersPositive working environmentPersonal growth, maintaining interest and encouraging job satisfaction.Competitive remunerationBusiness vehicle
