The support that you will be required to provide will vary. Some of the work will be physical.We would love to hear from you if:You have a passion for enabling others to lead good livesHave strong connections to the communityFlexibility in the hours you can workWilling to use your diverse background and identity to expand how we support people in a team environment.Can work independentlyExperience providing one to one support in the community is preferred but not essentialHave a Health Care Assistant Qualification or a Level 2 or 3 equivalentExperience working in the Disability sector, or a willingness to undertake trainingCCS Disability Action builds our work around three core documents; UN Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the NZ Disability Strategy.We work within a Human Rights framework and are committed to equal opportunity in all our employment policies and procedures.
