We are improving the capability and prosperity of Pacific business in Aotearoa New Zealand everyday as well as fuelling the growth of the Pacific economy.It's an exciting time for our organisation as we transition to operate as the National Pacific Economic Development Agency.About the RoleThe Business Navigator provides support and guidance to Pacific businesses by assessing business needs, developing growth strategies and managing client relationships. The role also requires you to:Provide practical business advisory and assistance to clients.Connect clients to relevant opportunities, business support, and innovation services.Provide advisory services to businesses, including guidance on business development, growth strategies, and overcoming challenges.Manage relationships with clients.Support or lead a facilitation session or workshop as required.Occasional regional travel, including overnight stays.About YouA tertiary degree in business is desired but not essential.Proven experience in relationship management, with a strong ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with businesses, stakeholders, and community.Minimum 5 years of experience in support services.Business networks and ecosystem knowledge are preferred.Practical understanding of business, financial literacy, and business models including the challenges and opportunities facing business owners and entrepreneurs.Have excellent knowledge of Pacific community and market.Passion for developing Pacific economy.
