To complement this, you will have good cultural awareness for the varying demographics we work with here at Ara Poutama Aotearoa.
You'll manage a caseload, with an emphasis on supporting the Bail Support Officers in your district and building a high-performing team.
We're looking for an exceptional Senior Bail Support Officer to help develop the service from its beginnings in the region.
This role will be in a fast-paced, dynamic, and exciting environment.
Bail Support Services is a team of people who are passionate about making a real difference for defendants and their whanau.
We would like to hear from you if you demonstrate:
A commitment and understanding of our strategy Hokai Rangi and our obligations regarding Te Tiriti o WaitangiAn ability to work bi-culturally with iwi partnersA good understanding of Bail Support Services and the expectations required of its implementation in this roleProven competency and experience working with people in our care and managementKnowledge and experience in identifying, empowering, and supporting people to achieve their goals relating to their needsStrengths in report writingDemonstrated effective skills practice guidanceProfessional credibility and integrityA very good understanding of motivational interviewing, report writing skills, and advanced communication skillsTo be considered for this role, you must also have a current Full New Zealand Drivers Licence.
The full range is $81,523 to $89,802.
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
