Tawera Rural College is a prestigious department which has the full support of our Development Manager as well as the senior team.As a semi-rural school close to Christchurch, at the heart of our community, our development programme is based on a strong vision. We're in the midst of PB4L, restorative practices, curriculum reform, and cultural capability development. We have 830 students, Y7–13, most of whom are very well supported from home and well connected to their school; some need us to adapt our practice to meet their needs.Terms and conditions of employment are covered under the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement.
