Distance Co. Limited – Timaru, South IslandWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accommodation Manage for our beautiful Lake Tekapo Holiday Homes. This role requires someone who takes pride in providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring our properties are well-maintained and presented to a high standard.Key Responsibilities:Guest Management:-Welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they are comfortable and understand all property amenities.-Handle check-ins, check-outs, and respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests.Property Maintenance and Presentation:-Inspect properties regularly to ensure they are clean, functional, and in excellent condition.-Coordinate with cleaning staff and maintenance contractors to address any issues.-Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting where necessary.Administrative Tasks:-Manage booking systems, update property availability, and oversee guest reservations.-Keep inventory of property essentials and restock as needed.-Maintain records of expenses and property maintenance schedules.-Monitoring quality at all stages of preparation and presentation of food and services-Directing and overseeing reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activitiesMarketing and Promotion:-Assist in marketing properties by providing feedback on guest reviews and ensuring positive guest experiences.-Suggest improvements to enhance property appeal and guest satisfaction.Control and regulations-Controlling the selection, training, and supervision of staff-Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations-Observing liquor, gaming, health and other laws and regulationsSkills and Qualifications:-Experience in Property Management or hospitality is preferred.-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.-Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.-Familiarity with booking systems and basic computer skills.-Bachelor's degree or equivalent-Flexible hours, with the opportunity to work in a beautiful location.-Discounts on accommodation for family and friends.If you have a passion for customer service and property management, apply now to join our Lake Tekapo teamBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
