About the Role Exciting opportunity to work in our Occupational Therapy team.This position is rotational and based in the community and on the hospital wards (medical, surgical, orthopaedic, rehab) where you will be working with people of all ages with physical disabilities and long-term illness to participate in their daily occupations.Bring your Occupational Therapy skills to be part of a supportive, diverse team.About the Team/Service/Location Work in sunny Gisborne (proud to be the first city to see the sunrise). We use an evidenced-based approach in our assessments and interventions and are quality driven. We work in an inter-disciplinary environment promoting independence, health, and well-being for the people of our community.The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn about wheelchair and seating assessments, pressure care intervention, cognitive assessments, and housing modification assessments.Successful applicants must be registered with the OT Board of New Zealand and hold a current practising certificate. They must also hold a current, clean, and full driver's licence. Overseas applicants can be considered providing they are eligible for OT Board registration.
