We're seeking an educational leader who embodies our Rosehill College values of Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga, Hiihiritanga, and Rangatiratanga in 2025.Ideally, the successful candidates will have senior leadership experience. They will share responsibility for shaping the future of education at Rosehill College. You will take an active role in supporting and empowering our akonga and kaimahi to reach personal excellence. Alongside classroom teaching commitments, you will collaboratively contribute to the college's strategic direction.Our college leaders understand the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and will ensure te reo me ona Tikanga are upheld. We expect relational practices to tautoko positive relationships within our kura. A commitment to mana orite mo te Matauranga Maori and cultural responsiveness is essential. Rise to the challenge of leading real change and enable the success of akonga by collaboratively engaging with kaimahi, whanau, and our wider community.We anticipate successful candidates will share our belief that everybody has seeds of brilliance and have a willingness to acknowledge, recognise, cultivate, and grow those seeds. Expertise in the following areas is advantageous:Embedding inclusive practices for learning across a kura (including SENCO, GATE, etc.)Overseeing student leadership, mentorship, and NZ Scholarship programmesEnhancing teacher wellbeing and support structures across the schoolFacilitating teacher professional growth and staff induction programmesOverseeing SCT and beginning teacher programmes.Successful candidates will negotiate responsibility for initiatives aligned with our strategic goals and priorities.You will be required to provide three referee reports, including your current principal.
