We're on the lookout for a confident, dynamic, and self-motivated marketing professional to drive the company's communication strategy, helping to share our success stories – it's a dream job that doesn't come around oftenWhat you'll be doingDevelop and implement effective communication plans to support the company's objectivesCreate engaging and informative content for various channels, including website, social media, and internal communicationsDevelop and coordinate our inventory of imagery, logos, templates, & brand collateralManage media relations and generate positive media coverageOrganise events and sponsorships to raise the company's profileMonitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication activities, and making recommendations for improvementWhat we're looking forMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a communications or marketing role (previous design experience an advantage)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiencesMedia relations experience and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with local mediaProficiency in social media management and content creationProven track record in corporate event planning and executionAnalytical mindset with the ability to measure and report on the impact of communication activitiesDegree in Communications, Marketing, or a related fieldWhat we offerAt South Port, we're committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
