Nga kawenga | About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Offender Management Systems team.
This Product team is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of systems and digital assets used by our frontline staff, and people living in prison or the community.
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving meaningful change and business improvements through detailed analysis and effective cross-functional collaboration.
You will work with frontline staff and/or key stakeholders to document requirements for Offender Management Systems either for project or business as usual changes.
Your work will be integral to ensuring that our business needs are clearly communicated and understood, helping to shape solutions that directly impact the effectiveness of our systems, and the quality of service provided.
To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated Business Analysis experience and in-depth knowledge of commonly used business analysis techniques and tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration and understanding between technical and non-technical teams.
Significant problem solving experience and preparation of business requirements specifications for programme development.
Proven ability to align solutions with longer-term goals, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in government is desirable.
Legacy systems and application experience is essential and Knowledge of ADO (Azure Dev Ops) and Agile methodologies helpful.
The mid point of the salary range is $119,013 per annum and the full range (85%-120%) is $101,162 - $142,816 per annum.
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
