As Supervisor you will provide leadership to the electrical team to ensure all electrical and automation projects are completed to keep the site running at an optimum, minimizing downtime.To achieve this, your responsibilities will include:Ensure plant availability and reliability through maintenance and repairs to manufacturing equipmentAct as a liaison between project work and site operations to ensure integration of electrical and automation componentsMonitor work to ensure it is inline with NZ Electrical Standards and RegulationsCost control and decision making for site R&M budget, including providing input into capital projects, along with project planning and executionIs this the right role for you?To make this role a success we are looking for an experienced and registered Electrician that has experience in leading a team. Experience in the maintenance of food manufacturing plant and equipment would be highly beneficial.What we would like to see in your application:Current NZ Electrical Practicing License and solid electrical maintenance experience of food manufacturing equipmentPrevious experience with continuous high-speed processing and packaging equipmentAn ability to work under pressure with dispute and conflict resolution skillsPLC programming and fault-finding skills would be advantageousWhat we offerYou will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together resulting in a highly collaborative and flexible work environment.
