The care and support required will depend on the specific needs of the client.
You will keep up to date with and deliver support in line with the agreed care plan.Aha Koe?
About You:The Support Worker role may sound appealing to you if you are naturally caring and empathetic.
No prior experience or specific skills are required, as we provide full training to help you achieve a Level 3 Health & Wellbeing qualification.
If you're passionate about making a difference, we'd love to hear from youRequirements Are BelowWe are looking for a Support Worker to fill the following shifts: 60 hours per fortnight (30 hours per week), split shifts between the hours of 8.00am – 7.00pm, Tuesday through to Saturday in and around the Central Auckland area (Remuera, Ellerslie, Eastern Bays).A New Zealand resident, citizen or have an eligible work visa.A full New Zealand driver's licence, with no restrictions and a reliable vehicle that you are prepared to drive to and between clients (We cannot accept International drivers licences).Clear English language skills - able to read English instructions and support plans and speak clearly in English to clients, client family members and colleagues.Strong customer service skills - are good at interacting with a wide range of people and enjoy helping people.High-quality standards and ability to adhere to professional standards, policies and practices.Compassion for the elderly, disabled and those in recovery.Confident to visit a range of clients in their homes and provide them with a range of care and support.We are diverse and inclusiveWe are committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.

We are also proud members of Diversity Works and the Pride Pledge.Nga ahuatanga hirahira o te mahi nei I Highlights of Working with UsAs a Support Worker under an Accredited Employer Work Visa the minimum number of guaranteed hours we will offer you is 30 hours per week.Paid between $26.00 - $29.10 dependent on your qualifications.Estimated gross earnings per fortnight, based on 60 hours per fortnight would be between $1,560 - $1,746; additionally, you will also receive a mileage allowance for travel between client locations.Have access to ongoing training programmes and e-learning packages (including training and support to achieve the Level 3 Health & Wellbeing Certification).Ongoing support through our Employee Assistance programmes.Provided with wellbeing support and resources for you and your family.Have access to discounted Southern Cross medical insurance.Future growth opportunities, including Support Worker Mentor roles.Receive mileage allowance for travel between client locations.Conditions apply depending on work permit / visa type.Check out our Careers page to learn more about us and working here, including other exciting opportunities with us.E hika ma, Tono a mai
