Are you interested in being part of the Caithness Integrated Health and Social Care Team?
This is a new and exciting opportunity to share your expertise as an experienced practitioner and directly assist the Social Work Team Manager with their duties and responsibilities.
Working under the supervision of the Social Work Team Manager within your District, you will provide leadership, advice, support and guidance to social workers and social care staff within your District Team.
You will lead on elements of practice to ensure that professional standards and service objectives as set out within the terms of legislation, policy, guidance and delegated responsibilities are adhered to.
You will contribute to service improvement and quality of practice of the District Team and ensure their contribution to the delivery of Integrated Health and Social Care for the adult population of Caithness.
This is a significant time of change in NHS Highland's approach to service delivery and the post holder will have an important role in supporting team members through the change process.
A driving licence is essential, and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes.
This is a permanent full-time post working 37 hours per week, worked in accordance with service requirements.

This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff.
This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours.
However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
