NZCL is looking for energetic and motivated people to support people in their own home.We are looking for full time and casual support workers to help the Rangatahi and Tamariki in our disability intensive support services in our Wellington residential homes.About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turangaOur Support Workers assist Rangatahi and Tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible, in their community.

Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness is important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
Having experience with disability is an advantage however not essential.A desire to support our Rangatahi and Tamaraki to learn new skills and achieve outcomesPrior experience supporting others with aspects of daily living, preferably those living with intellectual or physical disabilitiesIdeally experience working with children or youthFull driver's licence and confidence to safely transport passengers in our disability vans (training provided)Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekendsAt NZCL, we're passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity, and reflects the communities we serve.
