Refrigeration & Hvac Engineer

Location: Gisborne Pay: $35 - $45 p/hr + Tool Allowance + Company vehicle Hours: 8am - 4:30pm (Mondays to Fridays) Employment: Full Time Permanent Role To be successful in this role: You have a solid foundation of technical skills with the ability to resolve problems in both refrigeration and air conditioning.
A good amount of electrical knowledge which you are confident in applying to installation, repair, maintenance and operation of equipment and systems.
Someone who can communicate well with other team members, clients and both internal and external stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities will be: Troubleshooting, diagnosis of problems and maintenance of equipment Data collection for reporting of assets and quoting Make recommendations on the most appropriate action to be taken Execute project plans supplied by service manager or project manager Skills and Experience: Prior proven experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration and HVAC systems NZ Registration with practicing licence or EST (preferred) Clean and current NZ driver's license Strong analytical and problem solving skills About the company: A locally owned and operated company; recently expanding in Gisborne, our client are experts in the refrigeration and air conditioning field.
Working in both domestic and large commercial projects this role will see variety in tasks and outcomes.
Having recently won a large contract, there is a large scope of work; of which have ongoing project involvement.
