12 month IT Engineer position for a significant IT system upgrade that requires a minimum of SECRET CLEARANCE.ABOUT THE ROLE:Our client seeks a skilled IT Engineer to join their team for significant project work.
This role presents a unique opportunity to work on a high-impact project, providing you with the chance to contribute to a mission-critical solution while operating in a collaborative and dynamic environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Work closely with various groups to design and implement IT solutions that comply with architecture and design standards.Contribute to the delivery of IT systems using SAFe Agile methodologies, ensuring efficient and effective project execution.Utilize containers and related technologies to optimize system performance and scalability.Apply DevOps practices to improve the automation of system development, deployment, and monitoring.Collaborate with internal teams and other groups, ensuring designs meet operational needs and requirements.Adapt to different ways of working and remain flexible in the face of evolving technologies and team structures.KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Security Clearance: A minimum of secret clearance is essential for this role.Agile Delivery: Experience working within SAFe Agile delivery frameworks.Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with networking, server hardware, and Microsoft and Linux operating systems.Containers and Related Technologies: Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and related technologies.DevOps Practices: Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code.Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with multiple teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment.Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to flexible, evolving working methods.HOW TO APPLY:If you are interested in this upcoming opportunity, please apply through the link or alternatively reach out to Chris Gibbons (Principal Consultant) on 022 430 9042 or ****** to have a confidential discussion.Those who have not held or do not currently hold a minimum of secret clearance will not be considered.
