Job Description At Summerset we are here to bring the best of life to our residents.
To do this, we know we need to take care of our people to form a team who are strong enough to care, operate as one team, and strive to do their best.
We are looking for an exceptional Village Assistant to join our team at our Whangarei Village.
This is a fixed-term position until September to assist in providing village cover, reporting directly to the Village Manager.
Our Village Assistant is in many ways the face of our business and as such you need to be able to relate to a wide range of people, especially the elderly and their families.
The Village Assistant role provides great diversity, therefore you would provide a degree of both operational and administrative cover for the Village Manager on  Sundays 8am to 4:30pm .
This role is responsible for being the first point of contact for all Village related matters whilst on duty.
At Summerset we value your presentation and customer service ethic as much as the technical skills you bring to the team - our culture is what sets us apart
You are expected to be actively interested in the "look and feel" of the Village.
This is accomplished within the context of ensuring that the residents feel supported and secure, and enjoy living within Summerset's Villages.

Qualifications Current first aid certificate is preferable but not essential.
Additional Information Due to NZ Immigration requirements we are obliged to consider candidates that already have the right to work in NZ for this role first.
