About the opportunity As our CISO you will be responsible for defining and implementing Fonterra's global cybersecurity, you will own a range of activities including overseeing delivery of the Cybersecurity Programme, performing risk assessments, monitoring cybersecurity vulnerabilities and threats and educating the organisation.
A critical focus for the role is communicating with and educating key stakeholders about cybersecurity and acting as a change agent to drive a culture of cybersecurity that manages this business risk for the Cooperative.
Responsibilities will include Strategic Leadership – being an active member of the IT lead team collaborating on strategic plans to drive the business and create the cybersecurity strategy to deliver the respective business outcomes.Risk Management – Leading the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and processes.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.Team Leadership - Inspiring leading and developing a high-performing Cyber Security team.Operations – Manage the implementation and daily operations of the cybersecurity strategy, protect the IP of Fonterra, devise risks to minimise the risk of cyber-attacks.Stakeholder Management – build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders including the leadership team and group IT.Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility- Driving initiatives that align cyber security planning with Fonterra's sustainability and environmental goals.About youWe are looking for an experienced CISO with several years of leadership in large, complex, organisations and leading multinational teams.
You will have a strong background of working in IT and a keen understanding of IT and cybersecurity marketplace and trends across industry.
You will have an extensive experience in leading the development and implementation of risk management frameworks and processes, incident, response, audit and compliance.
You will be a strong leader, with the capability to build, lead and mentor a high performing cyber security team.
You will be used to board-level communication and can present complex security issues and strategies to the board of directors.
You will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies and frameworks.
Your stakeholder engagement skills will be second to none and you will have the ability to successfully collaborate with a range of stakeholders including IT, legal, compliance and business units.
You will be a critical and creative thinker possessing strong analytical skills to evaluate complex security issues and develop innovative solutions.
