Workshop Foreman Opportunity - Join Our Upper Hutt Team Are you a skilled diesel mechanic looking for a leadership role in a hands-on, yet low-stress environment?
Our 30-bus urban workshop in Upper Hutt is looking for a hands-on Foreman or senior mechanic to oversee our small team of mechanics, ensuring the day-to-day servicing and general repairs of our bus and coach fleet.
Why Join Us? Manage a well-organised and tidy workshop with a supportive team.Contribute to the training and development of apprentices.Call-out roster once every 8-10 weeks, rarely a breakdown that can't wait till Monday.Our main workshop is just 20 minutes up the road to provide support at any time.Who Are We Looking For? Experienced diesel mechanic with 5+ years in the industry.Previous leadership or supervisory experience, including mentoring apprentices.Strong fault diagnosis and repair skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Organised with the ability to manage admin tasks, including payroll and fleet maintenance systems.Team player attitude, happy to go above and beyond when needed.What Can We Offer?
