Job Description We're searching for an experienced and talented Accountant to join our Financial Reporting and Tax Team with a special focus on the fixed asset reporting.
Responsibilities include maintaining and preparing:
Fixed asset register for additions, disposals, and transfers.
Month end fixed asset reports including capital work in progress reports and commitment analysis.
Quarterly fringe benefit tax returns.
Annual statutory account fixed asset notes and
Annual tax return fixed asset sections.
Provide asset capitalization training to the internal accountants and divisions
Qualifications If you have experience working in a similar role and CA/CPA qualified (or studying towards the qualifications) we want to hear from you
A natural problem solver, analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
Proven experience with accounting processes and exposure to accounting packages, Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
The ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as members of your team.
Self sufficient who can work with minimum supervision to level of competency.
A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Commerce is essential
Knowledge of transport, logistics or waste would be desirable
