Hilton Hotels & Resorts – Auckland, North Island Our nautically-inspired 5-star hotel sits on the end of Princes Wharf, home to a wide variety of fine shops, restaurants, and bars.
We are looking for Food & Beverage Attendants who can service with smile and warmth delivering a high standard of customer service at Hilton Auckland's iconic bar - Bellini Bar , stunning FISH restaurant and Banqueting events spaces.
Sip on fresh barista coffee and take in waterfront views by day.
As the lights dim, enjoy a cocktail or a glass of champagne sitting seaside by night
What will I be doing?
This role involves: Elevating the guest experience by delivering our signature beverages with high-energy and efficient table service of food and beverage.
Creating drinks and preparing and serving a wide range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, pouring drinks, and ensuring that they are served promptly.
Providing exceptional customer service by being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food & drinks menus and being ready to explain and recommend food & beverage contents.
Moving furniture within the hotel and from and to Ports of Auckland.
Setting up event spaces and tables as per standards.
Taking guest orders, polishing glassware, and handling cash.
Managing a variety of customer types, inquiries, and complaints.
Crafting exquisite high teas.
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate for this role will bring: 1+ years experience as Food & Beverage Attendant, Barista, or Bartender.
4 / 5 star hotel experience.
Friendly, positive, energetic attitude and commitment.
Flexible availability and reliability - to work during the week , weekends , and public holidays.
Knowledge of beverages including coffee, cocktails, spirits, and wine is highly desirable.
Experience in POS ordering systems and cash handling.
A good understanding of wine, its service and recommendations to guests.
It will be beneficial if you maintain the following: Completed a barista course.
Previous work experience within a 5-star hotel environment.
In possession of WSET.
In possession of LCQ or manager's certificate.
