Detailer / Estimator

Complete Reinforcing, part of the NZ owned Euro Corporation Group, is involved in some of New Zealand's biggest infrastructure projects and is a market leader in the manufacturing, supply, fabrication and installation of structural steel reinforcing. 
We are currently hiring an experienced Detailer/Estimator at our Cromwell branch. Your job will be to provide accurate estimation and detailing, meeting customer demands, requirements and ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met. You will be required to support the construction and infrastructure projects for the business. 
Why Join Us  We lead the way and we play hard to win so win with the bestWe reward you with an attractive salary and a phone plus a laptopWe offer you growth and development opportunities and ongoing supportGreat company culture and friendly teamWe are proud of our achievements, we are creative and we think outside the box About the Role  Review contract documentation ensuring that the plans, specifications and pricing provide a comprehensive scope of the required buildingProduce accurate quotes and supporting documents to meet customer requirements in agreed timeframeReview documentation and work as a Detailer, fulfilling accurate plans, quote and costs for customers and projects.Manage cost by analyzing labour, time and material requirementsProcurement and delivery of orders within managed timeframesCoordinate with staff and ability to resolve any detailing and estimating issuesWork closely with the Project Managers, site staff and external partiesMaintain costs to complete each project and escalate any variations efficientlyAbout You Qualification in Civil Engineering and/or Construction/Mechanical Trade Certification preferredMinimum 3+ years' experience in working for large construction and infrastructure projectsProven understanding of best practice for concrete and reinforcement placementBe an effective communicator and a true problem solver with great negotiation skillsTake accountability and ownership of the roleGood understanding of Health and Safety Work practices and regulations.Be a good decision maker, be agile and professionally competentCustomer Focus with an eye for continuous improvementIf this sounds like you and you are keen to apply please submit your application online.
