We have an opportunity available for an energetic and driven Commercial Associate to join a successful Commercial Banking team, based in Napier.

Te turanga | The role :

As a Commercial Associate, you will have the opportunity to:

Maintain proactive customer contact through personalised and meaningful conversations, to drive best in class customer service and satisfy your customers' needs;

Support your clients' transactional banking requirements and provide operational support to the Relationship Team;

Partner with specialists across the bank, including Global Markets, Trade, Onboarding, Asset Finance etc, to provide tailored solutions to a diverse range of clients;

Build your Commercial Banking expertise, assisting the Relationship Team by inputting financial statements for credit submissions and reviews;

Develop your relationship management skills, with support of the team, by understanding and resolving customer queries and complaints with appropriate solutions in a timely manner.

You will be supported by an experienced wider team and offered space to grow and learn.

To achieve growth and succeed in this role, you will need to:

Bring a natural curiosity and strong drive to deliver customer solutions every day;

Put the customer at the centre of everything you do, with a focus on building long term value in your relationships;

Have a keen interest in the fundamentals of commercial banking and drive to grow your career;

Keen attention to detail and excellent time management skills;

Excellent written and oral communication.
