In this highly collaborative role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your analytical precision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make complex data understandable and actionable. You will play a critical role in supporting New Zealand's state highways portfolio within the transport sector. The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality performance reports and insights to help manage and improve road design, infrastructure build, maintenance, renewals, and operations. This role will heavily focus on leading performance analysis and the development of management dashboards alongside delivering clear reports that inform key stakeholders and drive strategic decisions. In addition, you will:

• Lead the development of focused reporting for programme and portfolio governance.
• Provide insights and intelligence which translate into actionable recommendations.
• Work closely with stakeholders, presenting insights at meetings to drive informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Significant experience in leading the development of reporting and insights in a large or complex organisation.
• Strong experience in data analysis, PowerBI, and reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate data insights clearly.
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills and experience presenting to senior leaders.
• A keen eye for detail and a customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to coach and develop analysts and senior analysts.

The Roads of National Significance (RoNS) are vital state highway projects that will drive economic growth and productivity through faster, more efficient transport connections that reduce travel times and create a safer, more resilient roading network.
