Construction Supervisor - Project Homes - Hunter Region

What's On Offer Work for a multiple award winning highly regarded builder Supportive team environment Salary up to $100k - $125k + Super + Car - depending on experience Overview Of The Role Oversee and manage the construction activities of multiple residential homes within a designated area. Coordinate with the project manager to ensure that the construction schedule is followed and projects are completed on time. Supervise and guide a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify any potential issues or delays, and implement corrective measures as necessary. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits by closely monitoring construction activities and materials used. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to address design-related issues and provide input for construction modifications or improvements. Manage and monitor the delivery of construction materials and equipment to the site, ensuring availability as per project requirements. Keep accurate records of daily activities, including work progress, manpower, and material usage, and report to the project manager. Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution. Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during construction, implementing appropriate solutions and maintaining positive working relationships. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions. Stay updated on industry trends, construction techniques, and regulations, and apply this knowledge to improve construction processes and outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of construction principles and practices. You will also need to be a strong leader and motivator, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements To Apply A minimum of 3 years experience working for a home builder managing high volume projects as a Supervisor. Hands on detail oriented individual who thrives on working in a fast paced environment. Candidates MUST have either a Cert III Carpentry OR Bricklaying AND a Cert IV in Building and Construction OR if no trade background candidates MUST have a Builder's license OR Supervisor's license. The successful candidate will be well presented with excellent communication skills, IT savvy and process oriented. How To Apply
