Ashbrook Motel Taupo locates at the central of Taupo. We are looking for a qualified manager to organize and control the business operation of Ashbrook Motel Taupo to provide customers with excellent service and accommodation, manage all working staff and subcontractors, oversee any financial and accounting issues.
The manager must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays. The position is Permanent, with at least 30 hours of work per week, shifting from Monday to Sunday, within the business hours.
We prefer the candidate:

Must have at least 3 years working experience in the business field.
Excellent marketing skills to promote business growth and enhance the awareness of Ashbrook Motel Taupo.
Excellent research skills to collect marketing information.
Excellent writing skills to create bilingual marketing content.
Passion for work and capable of achieving sales goals.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and clients.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Able to make operational decisions.

Duties and responsibilities:

Managing and overseeing all services provided in the motel including reservation, reception, and housekeeping activities.
Promoting the awareness of Ashbrook Motel Taupo, managing the creation of all bilingual marketing content, overseeing digital content and social media campaigns.
Observing and monitoring staff performance, interviewing, hiring, and training motel staff when necessary, and ensuring adherence to company rules and service standards.
Managing and reviewing customer feedback and handling any complaints and related issues.
Monitoring and managing financial and accounting activities, overseeing all stock levels, and keeping records of supplies and financial transactions.
Ensuring legislative compliance for security, hygiene, health, and safety in accordance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Selecting and liaising with security companies to ensure all alarm and security facilities are functioning properly.
Liaising with travel agencies or other third parties to provide tourism and other advice to our customers.

Location: Taupo Position: Manager Term: Permanent full-time position Wage: $31.70-$34.00
Hours of work: At least 30 hours per week, shifted from Monday to Sunday.
