If you are a motivated, enthusiastic Speech Language Therapist with an interest in leading a small team of SLT's, we would love to hear from you.
In addition to carrying a clinical caseload, the Paediatric Clinical Lead will be responsible for providing professional and clinical supervision, assisting with the coordination of service delivery and also be involved in leading quality improvement and service development initiatives. The Clinical Lead provides support to paediatric therapists based at Tauranga and Whakatane Hospitals and the Child Development Service.
You will work within a close team who provide speech language therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients in clinic and community settings.
Our preferred candidate will have:
Passion for leading others
Sound knowledge of the use of informal and formal assessment tools
The ability to work well within a team to achieve patient and whanau focused goals with a focus on evidence-based practice
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
Experience in instrumental assessment and/or video fluoroscopy is advantageous
If you are a highly motivated Speech Language Therapist, with proven paediatric skills, then we want to hear from you
This role is covered by the PSA Allied Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement. Salary range for this position is $111,240 to $122,570 (full-time equivalent).
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatane. We serve a population of approximately 308,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatane, Kawerau and Opotiki. Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4500 staff.
