SEN Teaching Assistants required - Barking

This is a full-time post and applicants should be able to work Monday-Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm.

Outstanding SEN School in Barking and Dagenham with a friendly and passionate team.

Opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a special needs school supporting children with ASD, SLD, PMLD, and MLD classes.

This special needs school caters for children between the ages of 2 and 19 who have autism and moderate and/or severe learning difficulties.

This is an opportunity to join a well-run, established, and friendly school where you can make a huge difference to the lives of pupils.

There are 2 Full-Time posts available from ASAP.

Details:
SEN Teaching Assistant
Work in a successful school with a friendly and inspiring team
Primary and Secondary phases
Support Class Teacher to deliver learning activities
Monitor and manage students' social and emotional development
Assist with personal care duties when required
Supervise students during breaks, lunch, and out of school on trips
Maintain high standards of safeguarding for all children
Experience in a school setting or care background/support worker would be advantageous

The applicants for this SEN Teaching Assistant role will need to be comfortable working within a special needs environment, have a positive attitude, and be able to work as part of a team.

Long-term contracts available with a permanent contract also on offer to suitable candidates.
