We are looking for experienced leaders who are motivated, innovative, and passionate about learners' success. The successful applicants will need to be committed to developing strong relationships with students, staff and whanau.Our commitment to relationships first ensures our tamariki know they are cared for and can care for others and the environment. We strive for every child to grow self-belief, know their strengths and be the best they can be.We seek dynamic and approachable leaders who are agile and strategic. You will have an understanding of evidence-based pedagogy. Your capacity to listen with empathy and communicate clearly will enable you to build trust and maintain relationships with tamariki, whanau and staff.The successful applicants will demonstrate a personal commitment to the special character of Horizon School in an authentic way.Strengths in supporting diverse learners in an inclusive environment would be advantageous and a willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the school is essential.Experience with any of the following: pastoral care, systems, strategic planning or timetabling would be beneficial.
