Description The Higgins Green Team in Tamaki Makaurau have an awesome opportunity for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead the team at our East Tamaki workshop.
You will be a proven leader with experience managing a team that specialise in the maintenance and repair of heavy plant, equipment and trucks.
You will be leading a team of approx.

Brand new PPE gear (that's your own personal protective equipment)What you'll bring to the role:Ideally you will have a inimum of 10 years experience as a Workshop Manager or Foreperson in the civil roading industryProven experience in repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipmentQualified Diesel mechanic with hands on experience Ability to plan, prioritise and schedule work including coordinating any plant breakdown/issues that may arise on site Proven experience leading a team of apprentices and mechanics Ability to build robust and effective relationships with key stakeholders including Higgins external suppliers Excellent communication skills – you will be the go-to person for all workshop related queries both internally and externally Higgins is a leading roading and civil infrastructure company in New Zealand.
