Organisation

Our mission is to make NZ the best place in the world for kids to grow up. Operating in 40 communities across 10 regions, and impacting almost 28,000 young people, via 142 programmes the Graeme Dingle Foundation is dedicated to transforming young Kiwi lives forever.

Our programmes teach children and young people values such as self-belief, confidence and resilience through fun-filled workshops delivered in schools across the country.

We’re showing Kiwi Kids that what they have inside is greater than any obstacle.

Role and Team:

With the guidance and support of the National Support Office, Trustees and other Regional Managers this role manages and coordinates all staff, resources, external providers and mentors to deliver the licensed programmes in your region, with a focus on ensuring high quality outcomes for programme participants.

  • Fund development incl managing a partnership plan
  • Marketing and communications, growing the brand and community engagement
  • Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting
  • Coaching a team of 16 to lift capability
  • Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Board presentations and interactions
  • Manage Risk, HR and Health & Safety

You’re someone who sets and pursues ambitious and challenging goals with a focus on the bigger picture. thrive on the responsibility of working across an entire organisation with the ability to bring people together to deliver positive outcomes.   • Clear ability to communicate strategy
  • Fundraising experience, promoting the organisation and building a strong relationship with sponsors
  • Ability to liaise & partner effectively with key stakeholders
  • A resilient nature
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • High level of personal organisation and accountability
  • Strong leadership capability to get the best out of the team
  • Local connection to the Western BOP not for profit community or wider community advantageous
  • Rewarding role creating positive outcomes for NZ’s youth & social impact within the local community
  • Real impact on staff development and ultimately programme delivery with accountability for all aspects of the local organisation
  • Governance & the opportunity to work closely with the board of trustees
