We are looking for 6x team members on a casual basis to join our team through the Summer Period, roles commencing as soon as possible, through until Feb 2025
We have something to suit everyone, with multiple positions available across the store.
Being a Team Member at Mitre 10 MEGA Porirua is all about being customer obsessed. Your focus will be on delivering epic customer service to every customer, every time. When you're not busy with customers, you'll be learning about the products in your department, and working with stock to make sure the shelves are full and looking good.
All available positions include at least one weekend day, and are both full time and part time. Hours will vary to cover our operating hours (7.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, and 8.00am - 6.00pm on weekends and public holidays). Ideally, you will be available to start immediately, or join us on a part time basis now, then increase your hours at a later stage.
A bit about you
We want to keep growing our amazing team with more exceptional talent. For us, this means hiring team players with a positive attitude and an excellent work ethic. Previous retail or customer service experience would be an advantage, but it's your strong personal values that align with ours that will make you successful at Mitre 10 MEGA Upper Hutt.
You might be a student looking to pick up full time or part time work over summer, a tradie looking for something a bit different, or a retail superstar looking for a change but no matter what, you will be someone who is passionate about creating a positive customer experience.
You'll also need to be physically fit and able for these positions as you will spend a lot of time on your feet, up and down ladders, and lifting stock with the team.
Applicants interested in these positions must be available to participate in an Assessment Centre on either:
Tuesday 19 November Morning session 10am or Afternoon Session 1pm
Wednesday 20 November Morning session 10am or Afternoon Session 1pm
At the Assessment Centre you will be taken through a short interview and be given some simple tasks to complete in a group situation. Spots at the Assessment Centres are first in, first served and these fill up quickly. Secure your spot by applying early
