Are you a hands-on Site Manager with a passion for managing workplace fitout projects from start to finish?We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to ensure the successful execution of projects, overseeing all on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality project delivery. This role is for a 6 month contract (or we would take on a contractor) to help us deliver some upcoming projects.About Us:At Studio DB, we specialise in transforming workplace environments, helping businesses across New Zealand create productive, inspiring spaces. Our team delivers end-to-end services, from strategy and design to construction, ensuring that every project meets our clients' unique needs and vision.Key Responsibilities:Project Management & Site Oversight:Plan, coordinate, and execute all site activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.Manage the day-to-day operations of the site, including subcontractor coordination, supplier management, and monitoring construction progress.Keep construction programmes updated and ensure timely delivery of materials and tasks without compromising deadlines.Maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols and ensure that all on-site activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements.Quality Control & Problem Solving:Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that the quality of work meets the highest standards and promptly address any defects or issues.Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to resolve on-site challenges quickly and effectively.Client & Stakeholder Management:Communicate professionally and clearly with clients and subcontractors, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Work closely with the Project Manager to address any variations in scope and obtain necessary approvals before additional work commences.Health & Safety Compliance:Ensure that all health and safety documentation is completed and up-to-date, actively contributing to the safety management system.Participate in health and safety meetings, ensuring that hazards are identified and addressed promptly.What We Offer:A dynamic, fast-paced work environmentOpportunities for career growth within a collaborative and supportive teamThe chance to work on high-profile, exciting workplace design and fitout projectsQualifications & Skills:Proven experience managing on-site construction or fitout projects, with strong leadership and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while maintaining quality and attention to detailExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsA thorough understanding of health and safety requirements and complianceProficiency in construction management software (experience with Procore is a plus)A valid right to work in New Zealand is required for this role.If you are an experienced Site Manager ready to take on exciting new projects and deliver high-quality results, we want to hear from youApply Now to join our team and help create inspiring workspaces across New Zealand.
