Fabricator/Boilermaker

About the role: We are seeking a Trade Qualified Fabricator/Boilermaker with excellent welding ability to join our client's Fabrication/Welding team. You'll be working on a major project that is scheduled to run until 2025. The work will involve:  Fabrication and welding of plate and pipe Mainly ARC welding and fabrication  Initial contract for 12 weeks constant work (with potential to extend)  Some overtime may be available Skills + Experience: For this role you will need:  A Trade Qualification in Fabrication or Boilermaking (proof will be required) The ability to pass a weld test in 4G (ARC). You will be required to sit and pass an in-house weld test prior to starting.  Attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines A very high standard of pipe and plate fabrication skills, with demonstrated experience The ability to fabricate both with and without drawings  Have a clean criminal record and be able to pass a drug and alcohol test Pay + Benefits: A good rate of pay is offered, along with an overtime rate (for GST or PAYE contractors) Regular opportunity/potential for longer term for the right candidates About Us:  Tech Trade is a specialist engineering and trade recruitment company, offering short & long term contract work as well as permanent jobs for skilled candidates.
