· South Wairarapa Location – Close to Featherston and Martinborough· Competitive salary, health and life insurance benefits· Fixed-term - starting mid-July until early DecemberSupportive environment with ongoing training and developmentThe OpportunityAs a Calf Rearer your day-to-day activities may consist of feeding calves, picking up calves, administering animal health treatments and processing calves through the cattle yards.This is a fixed term from early mid-July to early December.This is a preferably a drive on position, so reliable transport is required.Although there is the possibility for accommodation for in a single bedroom cottage (if needed), chat to us about this.The FarmWingpoint Dairy is a 330 effective ha block, milking 850 cows twice a day through a 70-bail rotary, situated 15 minutes from Martinborough and 20 minutes south of Featherston.About YouYou will have a positive attitude and willingness to learn, looking to develop and grow your dairy career.You will also have:· An exceptional attitude to health and safety and animal welfare· Be punctual and reliable· The ability to work unsupervised and good communication skills· Restricted or full driver's licenceBenefitsWe offer an attractive hourly rate, as well as ongoing training to help you reach your career goals.
