Blind and Low Vision Education Network NZ - Auckland BLENNZ Hamilton - Resource Teacher Vision (RTV) Full time, Permanent Area / composite (Years 1–15), Resource teacher Permanent full-time position (1SU) – starting term 1 2025 or earlier by mutual agreement.
Hamilton is looking for an experienced teacher in specialist education with current teacher registration and up-to-date knowledge of the NZ Curriculum and / or Te Whariki to support the education of akonga who are blind, deafblind and low vision, aged from birth to 21 years.
The successful applicant will have good interpersonal skills, be a competent user of technology and demonstrate an ability to develop excellent working relationships with parents, family/whanau and educators.
Working successfully as part of a team is a key component of this itinerant position.
Experience in Vision Education is desirable.
