About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced leader to be our next General Manager for Mental Health, Addictions and Intellectual Disability (MHAID). Reporting to our Group Director of Operations, this broad role leads a team of multidisciplinary leaders, service managers and specialists across our geographically and demographically diverse region. This is a very tangible opportunity to make a real difference in key areas of health service design and delivery.

- Demonstrate high levels of strategic and operational leadership and intellectual bandwidth

- Have a track record of ownership and accountability in programme and change management, and quality improvement.
- Know how to get the best from dispersed teams and managing through others
- Bring drive and tenacity for performance excellence and improved measurable results
- Have strong financial acumen, including the ability to build strong business cases built on evidence and analysis and the ability to manage a large operational budget.
- Are an exemplary relationship builder with a positive, solutions-oriented outlook.
Ideally, you will have substantial experience in mental health; but we will also consider candidates with strong relevant experience.
