Cinema Supervisor

We actively encourage our staff to watch films, read reviews and check out movie trailers We want staff who will go the extra mile to give our customers the best experience possible when they visit our cinema.Could you be our next shift supervisor?We're looking for someone to join our team in a permanent full-time position. Ideally 35-40 hours per week (5 shifts), but if you're available for at least 4 shifts (~28 hours) we'd love to hear from you too. This position is available for an immediate start, but could also suit someone finishing up their studies who is available part-time to begin, and full-time from beginning of October.You must be able to obtain a manager's certificate within 3 months. To do this you must already have 3 months of recent experience in a licenced premise, clean criminal record and 20+ years of age (or turning 20 within 3 months).Shifts are worked across our roster (open 7 days 8.30am until late). You'll be rostered 2 days off in a row each week, but must be willing to work weekends and evenings, as these are the busiest times for cinemas.  Key qualities sought: LCQ certificate is advantageous, though we'll provide training for the right applicant A current Manager's certificate or the potential to obtain one within 3 months (note: to hold a Manager's Certificate you must be 20+ years of age with clean criminal record, and be able to provide a reference for recent experience in a licenced premise) An eager and fast learner                                                                                    Willing to go the extra mile Positive and friendly nature Barista experience is a bonus Experience working in a customer service position is preferred and you must: Have an interest in film – staff are encouraged to watch the films and read reviews Provide excellent customer service Have great communication and organisational skills Reliable transport - closes finish between 10pm and midnight
