Southland Hospital's Digitisation Bureau has been scanning for the last year and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be a part of our team for digitising information.
Mō te tūranga - About the role
As the Digitisation Officer - Preparation, you will effectively produce an accurate digital document of our Clinical information and contribute to the smooth running of the Digitisation service of our Clinical Records. You will provide an efficient and timely function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service, which includes file preparation and document management.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- High standard of interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to process large volumes of documents with varying sizes and formatting
- Ability to focus for extended periods of time
- Ability to use Digitisation hardware and software

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 1 between $57,291 to Step 3 $63,630 dependent on relevant experience.
