About the Role:
Based in Ahuriri, Napier, in conjunction with the Project Manager, you will have financial ownership and provide effective and efficient cost management and contract administration services including:
Monthly client financial reporting
Cost estimation and budgeting
Tendering and trade procurement
Cost control and monitoring
Valuation and payment certification
Risk management and dispute resolution
Contract administration
About You:
As a driven self-starter with high attention to detail and an inquisitive personality, you will add value and continuously strive for excellence In addition to this, you will have the following attributes:
A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a QS role in New Zealand, ideally in the commercial construction environment.
A tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or relevant industry experience.
Demonstrate strong teamwork skills with a great work ethic.
Exhibit ample initiative and innovation in the way you work.
Strong communication and numeracy skills.
Confident with the full MS Suite & navigating MS Project software.
Experience using Procore & Jobpac would be an advantage.
